A few more pictures of the younger ones coming along. I should have them available again starting on Monday June 2nd.

In other boring news, I’ve been hearing a Bobwhite bird the past few days. I’ve lived here for 9 years and have never heard that bird here, so I’m glad he came. According to Wikipedia:
”Habitat degradation threatens wild populations, so it is propagated in captivity in large numbers for release on hunting preserves or natural areas as required by US wildlife agencies. It is moderately resilient to hunting pressure, and locally can be disappear entirely from overhunting, as has occurred time and again.”
Well, I hope the little guy makes a home here where he won’t be threatened by some drunk yahoo redneck looking to kill something for no reason.
I’m sure al 3 of my faithful blog readers will be happy to know that even though my website was hacked, that I’m still here! Yes, if you tuned in yesterday you would have been greeted with:

All excited I called up DH at work and screamed “look at my website!”, As I heard the sound of him typing my URL in, I was a bit annoyed that he didn’t have my site in his favorites. wtf, I’m his wife, surely I deserve a spot on his favorites list. “Oh, your server has been hacked” he said.
Somehow the very smart but misguided “r00t-x” changed everyone who was on the curry server’s index file. I just had to upload a copy and it was all set. But in my excitement of the moment, I didn’t realize I uploaded it to the wrong folder so of course it didn’t change anything. So I ended up reinstalling my theme and lost all of my customizations before I realized my stupid mistake.
In other news.. I set up a new shrimp tank, so now I have 2. I replaced the gravel in both tanks with Tahitian Moonsand and oh how beautiful that sand is! It’s so much better then the first sand I tried back in November, which was more like dust and was heavy and crappy. This is beautiful and sparkly and the grains are heavy and easy to vacuum. And now I can clearly see the baby shrimp in the black sand.
