The Oster Kitchen Center

I got lucky this weekend at our community yard sale.  I got hold of a “vintage” 1982 Oster Kitchen Center in brand new condition with the salad slicer, meat grinder, blender, both bowls and mixer/dough arms for $5.  I’ve never had a mixer before, and I just love this thing.  S

o I went to eBay to see what else I could get for it, and I ended up buying the pasta maker attachment and the ice crusher attachment.  I will probably get the ice cream maker attachment for it too.

I just bid 2.00 on the 118 page instruction manual that I needed.  I tried to find the manual online but no luck.  The pasta maker and ice crusher I bought came with manuals, so for those who are looking for manuals but don’t want to buy them off of eBay, I scaned them into .pdf documents for you.  Feel free to download them.

Did you ever get a manual? I have a pdf copy I can email you. Also, do you know anything about the different salad makers? There seems to be at least two different designs, one with and one without the “slinger.” I’m wondering if they both fit the 900-series (same as the type you have).

Do you still like it as much now that you’ve had it a month? They are for sale all the time on Ebay.
