I hate them!

I hate my progressive lenses. I have had them for 3 weeks, have gone back twice to make sure they are adjusted correctly, and I still hate them. I don’t mind getting old, I’m 44 and I think this is a great age, but this whole eye thing sucks. I need a 1.75 to read, I can’t imagine how I’m going to feel when I need something stronger. I don’t know what to do, I suppose I can try regular bifocals. Or maybe the people at ValuVision don’t know what they are doing (I did feel like I was being shuffled down an assembly line) and I should go to a regular eye doctor. I just want to see.

The tree frogs are out tonight, and it’s February when it is supposed to be too cold for them. The warmer weather is nice because we use less gas to heat our home. I’m hoping we avoid spring tornadoes this year.

Upcoming TV shows I’m looking forward to…. Amazing Race, Survivor and The River. I told myself after the X Files that I would never, ever get involved again in a TV show because they never answered any questions. Then Lost came, and once again I got suckered into the show, and even now I’m still PO’d at the lame ending. The River looks great, but I’m afraid of being lost in the show and never finding out answers to the questions they will raise. I could solve it by not watching it. But it looks so good.

My 14 inch common pleco is outgrowing my 75 gallon

tank, and I’m not going to be able to upgrade my tank for a long time. I’m in the Nashville, TN area. Please contact me if you are interested. I’ve had him for 4 years and I’m sad to look for a new home, but its the best thing for him. He is healthy and needs a whole raw zucchini daily, as well as large bottom feeder tablets. You need at least a 90+ WIDE tank.

I have 2 new birds at my feeders this year. One is a Ruby Crowned Kinglet and the other is a Yellow Rumped Warblers. There is only 1 Kinglet and he has been at the suet feeder every day since December. He sometimes acts like a hummingbird and hovers under the suet to eat it.

The Yellow Rumped Warbler showed up at the empty platform feeder, I managed to get his blurry picture before as he was flying away. I haven’t seen him since.
